the philosophy of the opal
Complexity managed. Focus restored
In the world of fine gemstones, an Opal is defined by its duality: a perfectly smooth, resilient surface protecting a breathtakingly complex interior.
Your business is no different. Behind every visionary leap is a hidden engine of intricate systems, financial precision, and logistical moving parts. At Opal Operations, we believe the founder’s primary job is to lead—not to be consumed by the friction of daily operations.
We step in as your Operational Stewards. We manage the complexity behind the scenes so that your surface remains perfectly calm, your focus remains restored, and your growth remains effortless.

FOUNDER + CHIEF OPERATOR

MEET OUR FOUNDER

About me, and why I started Opal Operations
I spent nearly two decades in the "engine rooms" of mission-driven organizations with 30+ year legacies.
Working within institutions that have stood the test of time taught me a universal truth: whether an organization is three years old or fifty, periods of growth and leadership turnover always expose the same gap - the need for resilient operational systems. Even in large divisions that operated like independent small businesses, the struggle to balance the "craft" of the business with the "compliance" of the back office was constant.
I saw brilliant entrepreneurs reaching a breaking point. They had great ideas and growing teams, but their operations were a patchwork of manual spreadsheets and disconnected tools. Their success had created a "Messy Middle" that was actually holding them back from their next big move. They didn't just need a bookkeeper or an office manager; they needed a Chief Operator - someone to step in, look at the chaos, and install the modern infrastructure required to scale.
Opal Operations was founded to bring that enterprise-level stability to you. I realized I could help business owners through fractional, high-impact engagements, turning their DIY struggle into a professional, high-performance operation. I’m here to bridge the gap and take the weight of complex systems and projects off your plate.
My goal is simple: I build the foundation so you can focus on the vision you love, knowing your business is built for the long haul.
